Yosef's Coat Ministries, Inc. is a faith-based nonprofit organization that promotes the healing and reunification of Georgia's children and families, primarily those involved with the foster care system.
We serve our local community, region, and state by contributing to the economic security of families through our free, public resource center.

Our Mission
Our three-fold mission addresses the following needs:
- Shortage of active foster care homes available in the state of Georgia
- Healing and reunification of families through trauma-informed and therapeutic care activities and events
- Aid to families and communities experiencing economic distress

Our mission is achieved through collaborative partnerships and contributions to our local communities of Houston County, Region 6, and the state of Georgia.
Horticulture for Wellness
Our premier offering, Horticulture for Wellness, promotes free public events regarding the therapeutic benefits of horticulture as well as an opportunity for families to bond in a healing environment.
As permaculture practitioners, we designed Seeds of Wellness programming used to demonstrate how one's spiritual, mental, emotional, physical, and financial health is improved through growing fresh, organic produce using methods that sustain and regenerate our lands.
We educate children, families, and communities about resources to assist with starting their own garden or farm, such as their local extension office, the USDA, and NRCS, amongst others.
The Community Garden @ The Lindsey Student Support Center
Our community garden establishment is underway! We're excited for our garden workdays and planting parties with the community as we introduce Georgia organics Pepper-Palooza in October 2023! Please check our Upcoming Events to get involved.
The Beverly Robinson Resource Center
Our free, public resource center offers children, families, and community partners with a variety of donations to meet their basic needs and positively impact their financial security. Please contact us regarding our current inventory, which may include the following:
- New or Gently Used Clothing and Shoes
- Cleaning Supplies
- Diapers and Wipes
- School Supplies
- Home Decor
- Bottled Water
- And more!
